Can't draw cause the tablet is broken :/

I really have no luck with tablets :(
I got a new one (yay!)
But it has a glitch :(
Usually, on a tablet you have to press
the pen on to it to draw,
but my pen draws when it's like a whole
centimeter away from the tablet's
surface :( I can't draw normally.
I don't know what to do. :(

Ifa any of you know how to help me
I would be very thankful and I will
even draw ANYTHING for you
(as long as the tablet starts working normally)
